It is scary to think of how an accident can happen. You could be drifting, didn’t see someone in your blind spot, or didn’t hit the brakes fast enough. The 2019 Chrysler 300 has many available safety features to keep you protected.

First, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking is available to sense for obstacles ahead of your car. When you get too close, the system warns you and applies the brakes. Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop is similar in that it brakes to keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead while you’re in cruise control.

Staying in your lane is just as important as braking early enough. If the sedan starts drifting, the available LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist will alert you of getting too close to the lines. If you don’t act, it will make a slight adjustment to your steering to get you back on track. We all want to avoid the dreaded blind spot as we are changing lanes. The available Blind Spot Monitoring System will monitor for vehicles where you might not see them. If a car is driving in your blind spot, an icon will light on the side mirror by it and give you an audible cue.

Nobody wants to hit something when they are parking or in reverse. That’s why ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist is available to help you with tight areas. While parking, this feature will detect obstacles in front and behind the sedan. Available Rear Cross Path Detection will monitor for any incoming vehicles as you are backing out of a parking stall or driveway.
