The Mission Winter Haven was founded back in 1974 and is dedicated to providing help to members of the community who are struggling. This non-profit organization has served families and individuals in need of foster care, community feedings, and more.
We have a variety of weekly services for you to check out.
- Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is open two days a week, and all you need to qualify is an I.D., your social security card, and proof of residency.
- Soup Kitchen
Our Soup Kitchen supplies continental breakfasts with pastries and coffee, and warm balanced lunches five days a week.
- Hygiene Closet
You can shop basic hygiene and clothing items here for free four days a week.

Each day of the week focuses on a different subject. Mondays are all about motivation, and usually include a motivational movie and popcorn. Tuesdays are for Art of Your Mind, which includes arts and crafts classes.
Wednesdays are for F.I.T. Training. Some classes offered include parenting, personal integrity, decision making, anger management, economics, finances, and relationships. Thursdays are known as Smile Time, and include time for playing board games, chess, bingo, cards, and other activities.
