The Defining History of Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding
If you want to go hang gliding, you have to go to Wallaby Ranch. Why? They practically wrote the book! Wallaby Ranch founder, Malcom Jones, revolutionized the sport by outfitting his tandem hang gliders with wheels for easy take-offs and landings.
Since then, he’s flown more than 30,000 incident-free tandem flights, making Malcolm one of the most experienced hang gliding pilots and coaches in the world.
What Happens When You Fly?
When you choose to fly at Wallaby Ranch, you’ll pull up to a beautiful, secluded setting in the natural Florida woodlands. During your time on the ranch, you may encounter a variety of natural Florida fauna in this picturesque setting.
Your flight will be done in tandem with an experienced hang glider as you soar 2,000 feet in the air. You’ll also free fly for approximately 15 minutes before gently returning to the Earth on a slow glide.
These Tandem Discovery Flights are safe for everyone from four to 90 years old. They fly every day starting at 8:00 AM (weather permitting).
